And, O Muhammad , you are not engaged in any matter or recite any of the Qur'an and you people do not do any deed except that We are witness over you when you are involved in it.

In whatever activity you may be engaged, and whichever part of the Quran you recite, and whatever deed you do, We are witness to it when you are engaged in it.

In whatever business thou mayest be, and whatever portion thou mayest be reciting from the Qur'an, and whatever deed ye (mankind) may be doing, We are witnesses thereof when ye are deeply engrossed therein.

We have to recognize they're different from us. This is us, right?

They went out from us, but they didn't belong to us for if they had belonged to us, they would have continued with us. But they left, that they might be revealed that none of them belong to us.

They went out from us, but they were not of us for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
