We should then have followed Your Ayat (Verses of the Quran) and should have been among the believers.

We should then have followed Thy Signs and been amongst those who believe!

Is this possible? Is it really possible that we could do this?

You may have thought that they were awake, yet they were asleep.

Roast in it now for having disbelieved.

Therefore now taste the punishment, the result of your disbelief.

Enter it this day the recompense of your disbelief.

Then taste the chastisement for that you disbelieved!'

roast well in it today, for that you were unbelievers!'

Roast therein To day for that ye have been disbelieving.

Then taste the torment (in Hell) for rejecting Faith.

And you would have thought them awake, while they were asleep.

Burn therein this Day, for that you used to disbelieve.

Then taste the punishment for having disbelieved.

You would think them awake, although they were asleep.

Roast in it today, because you persistently disbelieved.

Taste, then, chastisement for your unbelief.

Burn in it on account of your disbelieving.

Then taste the punishment for that ye disbelieved.

Burn therein this day for that ye disbelieved.

So taste the punishment because of what you used to disbelieve.

You will suppose them to be awake, although they are asleep.

Enter it today, because of what you used to deny.

Then taste the punishment for that you disbelieved'

You might have thought them awake, though they were sleeping.

Roast well therein this Day for you were unbelievers'

Then taste the punishment for what you used to reject.

And you would think them awake, while they were asleep.

Enter to burn therein today for what you used to deny.

Now suffer the torment for your disbelief .

One would think them (the youths) awake while, in fact, they were sleeping.

Suffer therein on this day for your disbelief.

Taste therefore the chastisement because you disbelieved.

Enter into it this day because you disbelieved.

Taste, then, this punishment for having denied the truth!

You would have thought they were awake, though they lay asleep.

Enter it this Day on account of your denial of the truth.

Taste then the penalty for rejecting Faith.
