by the Garden of Eternal Repose,

and gave you repose in sleep,

Near which is the Garden of Repose.

And have appointed your sleep for repose,

and made your sleep a means of repose,

Who hath raised us up from our beds of repose? ...

there shall be repose and ease, and a Garden of Delight

Verily thy prayer is a repose for them and Allah is Hearing, Knowing.

In repose (as witnessed on the split screen in the reaction shots) he was often perfectly immobile, almost stony, as if posing for a portrait.

I drink, he said, to the buried that repose around us. And I to your long life.

It is God who made for you the night, to repose in it, and the day, to see.

Allah it is who hath appointed for you the night that ye may repose therein, and day enlightening.

He it is who hath appointed for you the night that ye may repose therein and the day enlightening.

Observe they not that We have appointed the night that they may repose therein, and the day sight giving?

And He it is Who maketh night a covering for you, and sleep repose, and maketh day a resurrection.

Have they not seen how We made the night for them, to repose in it, and the day, to see?

Allah it is Who made the night so that you may seek repose in it, and made the day radiant.

The dwellers of Paradise (i.e. those who deserved it through their Faith and righteousness) will, on that Day, have the best abode, and have the fairest of places for repose.

And why should we not repose our trust in God when He has shown us our paths of duty to Him?

The Companions of the Garden will be well, that Day, in their abode, and have the fairest of places for repose.

He splits the sky into dawn, and has made the night for a repose, and the sun and moon for a reckoning.

He it is who created you from a single soul, and He created therefrom his spouse that he might find repose in her.

It is He who made the night a mantle for you, and sleep for repose and made the day a time for rising.

And it is He who hath made for you the night a covering, and the sleep repose, and hath made the day a resurrection.

Did they not perceive that We had made the night so that they may repose in it and made the day clear and shining.

Those who reject Faith will suffer from that rejection and those who work righteousness will spread their couch (of repose) for themselves (in heaven)

It is He Who causes the dawn to split forth, and has ordained the night for repose, and the sun and the moon for reckoning time.

And He it is Who makes the Night as a Robe for you, and Sleep as Repose, and makes the Day (as it were) a Resurrection.

Of His mercy He has appointed for you night and day, for you to repose in and seek after His bounty, that haply you will be thankful.'

And of His signs is that He created for you, of yourselves, spouses, that you might repose in them, and He has set between you love and mercy.

It is He who made for you the night to repose in it, and the day, to see surely in that are signs for a people who have ears.

Say 'What think you? If God should make the day unceasing over you, until the Day of Resurrection, what god other than God shall bring you night to repose in?

Another of His signs is that He created for you from among yourselves spouses, so that you might find repose in them, and He created between you affection and kindness.

Say thou bethink ye, if Allah made day continuous for you till the Day of Resurrection, what god is there beside Allah, who would bring you night wherein ye have repose?

And among His Signs is this, that He created for you wives from among yourselves, that you may find repose in them, and He has put between you affection and mercy.

And it is Allah Who has ordained the night as a garment for you, and the sleep as a repose of death, and the day as the time of return to life.

He who made the earth a place of repose for you, and the sky a canopy, and He sends down water from the sky and with it brings forth crops for your sustenance.

It is of His mercy He hath appointed for you night and day, that therein ye may have repose, and that ye may seek of His grace, and that haply ye may give thanks.

It is out of His Mercy that He has made for you night and day that you may repose (during the night) and seek His Bounty (during the day) that you might be grateful.

Allah hath appointed for you from your houses a repose, and He hath appointed for you from the skins of the cattle houses which ye find light, on the day of your flitting and on the day of your stopping, and from their wools and their furs and their hair a furnishing and an enjoyment for a season.

And of His signs is, thathe created for you from yourselves pouses that ye may find repose in them, and He set between you affection and mercy. verily herein are signs for a people who ponder.

Say Did you consider if Allah were to make the day become perpetual over you till the Day of Judgement, is there a god other than Allah who can bring in night for you that you may repose in it?

And it is He Who makes the night a covering for you, and the sleep (as) repose, and makes the day Nushur (i.e. getting up and going about here and there for daily work, etc. after one's sleep at night or like resurrection after one's death).

Allah has made your houses a repose, and has provided you with the skins of the cattle for your habitation which are light to handle both when you travel and when you camp and out of their wool and their fur and their hair He has given you furnishings and goods for use over a period of time.
