'Read thy book!

(It will be said to him) Read your book.

(And it will be said unto him) Read thy Book.

It will be said , Read your record.

Your handwriting is similar to mine.

Read your ledger this day you are sufficient to take your own account.

It will be said, Read your ledger this day you are sufficient to take your own account.

Read thine book sufficeth to day thy soul against thee as a reckoner.

Read your book today there will be none but yourself to call you to account.

Read your scroll this Day you suffice to take account of yourself.

We will tell him, Read it and judge for yourself.

Read your book your own self is sufficient as a reckoner against you this day.

It will say, Read your record, today there will be none but yourself to call you to account!

(It will be said to him ) Read thine (own) record Sufficient is thy soul this day to make out an account against thee.

Recite what has been revealed to you of the Book of your Lord.

Recite what has been revealed to thee of the Book of thy Lord no man can change His words.

And recite what has been revealed to you (O Muhammad SAW) of the Book (the Quran) of your Lord (i.e. recite it, understand and follow its teachings and act on its orders and preach it to men).

And recite what was revealed to you from the Book of your Lord.

And recite that which hath been revealed unto thee of the Scripture of thy Lord.

Recite what has been revealed to you from the Book of your Lord.

Recite what is revealed to you in the Book of your Lord.

And recite, O Muhammad , what has been revealed to you of the Book of your Lord.

Read whatever is revealed to you from the Book of your Lord.

Proclaim what has been revealed to you from your Lord's Book.

Neither did you (O Muhammad SAW) read any book before it (this Quran), nor did you write any book (whatsoever) with your right hand.

Never before did you recited any Book, or inscribe it with your right hand.

And you did not recite before it any scripture, nor did you inscribe one with your right hand.

You were not able to read any book before this, nor did you write one down with your hand.

Even then, we will not believe in your ascension, unless you bring down for us a book that we can read.

And we will not believe your ascension until you bring down for us a book that we may read.

And even then , we will not believe in your ascension until you bring down to us a book we may read.

We shall never believe that you have climbed into the sky until you bring us a book that we can read.

No, we shall not even believe in thy mounting until thou send down to us a book that we could read.

Write

You did not read any Scripture before this, nor wrote one with your right hand, or else these dissemblers would have found a cause to doubt it.

And you (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him) were not reading any Book before it, nor writing with your right hand if it were, the people of falsehood would surely have doubted.

Not before this didst thou recite any Book, or inscribe it with thy right hand, for then those who follow falsehood would have doubted.

And thou hast not been reciting any book before it, nor hast thou been writing it With thine right hand, for then might the followers of falsehood have doubted.

Those unto whom We gave the Scripture the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel) know that it is revealed from your Lord in truth.

Those to whom We gave the Book know that it is the truth revealed from your Lord.

You did not read any scripture before this, nor did you write it down with your right hand otherwise the falsifiers would have doubted.

And those whom We gave the Book (before you) know that this (Book) has been revealed in truth by your Lord.

(O Prophet), you did not recite any Book before, nor did you write it down with your hand for then the votaries of falsehood would have had a cause for doubt.
