How many habitations that had come to boast of their resources have We destroyed?

And how many towns did We destroy which had stooped to self indulgence!

How many a city We have destroyed that flourished in insolent ease!

And how many a city have We destroyed that exulted in their living!

And how many a town (population) have We destroyed, which were thankless for its means of livelihood (disobeyed Allah, and His Messengers, by doing evil deeds and crimes)!

And how many a city did We destroy for turning unappreciative of its livelihood?

And how many a town did We destroy whose inhabitants exulted on account of their affluence.

And how many a community have We destroyed that was thankless for its means of livelihood!

How many a town We have destroyed that exulted in its lifestyle!

How many a village have We destroyed that were ungrateful in their life!

How many nations, who had enjoyed great prosperity, had We destroyed?

How many townships have We destroyed where the people had become arrogant on account of their affluence?

He's created a cooperative to help people diversify their livelihoods.

And surely, We gave you authority on the earth and appointed for you therein provisions (for your life).

We assuredly established you in the earth and arranged for your livelihood in it.

And We have given you (mankind) power in the earth, and appointed for you therein livelihoods.

Certainly We have established you on the earth, and made in it various means of livelihood for you.

And We have certainly established you upon the earth and made for you therein ways of livelihood.

We have made you inhabit the land and provided you with the means of sustenance.

2. Indigenous peoples deprived of their means of subsistence and development are entitled to just and fair redress.

And indeed We established you in the earth and in it created for you the means of livelihood very little thanks do you offer!
