Maybe they have something.

So why should not a band from each party of them march forth so that they may gain understanding in religion and that when they come back unto them, haply they might warn their people when they come back unto them, haply they may beware!

Of every troop of them, a party only should go forth, that they (who are left behind) may get instructions in (Islamic) religion, and that they may warn their people when they return to them, so that they may beware (of evil).

Of every division that marches out, let a group remain behind, to gain understanding of the religion, and to notify their people when they have returned to them, that they may beware.

But why should not there a group from each of their sections go forth to become learned in religion, and to warn their people when they return to them, so that they may beware?

For there should separate from every division of them a group remaining to obtain understanding in the religion and warn their people when they return to them that they might be cautious.

Why do not some people from each group of believers seek to become specialists in religious learning and, after completing their studies, guide their group so that they will have fear of God.

Why, then, does not a party from every group come to the Prophet in order to acquire a deeper knowledge of religion and to warn their people, so that they can guard themselves against evil?

You might want to talk to them.

Perhaps I was too harsh on them.

They're going to learn from whatever it is they have around them.

That, of course, does not mean that they are right.

So we may not think about them, but they're always around.

The point is that these people may have a valid reason for wanting to work hours which are not the standard eight hours a day.

And let those (executors and guardians) have the same fear in their minds as they would have for their own, if they had left weak offspring behind.

And let them fear, those who, if they would themselves leave behind helpless offspring, they would surely have been fearful on their account.

And let those fear (in their behaviour toward orphans) who if they left behind them weak offspring would be afraid for them.

Let those fear the result of mistreating orphans who, were they to leave behind weak offspring, would be concerned on their account.

And let those executors and guardians fear injustice as if they themselves had left weak offspring behind and feared for them.

Those who are concerned about the fate of their own helpless children if they should die and leave them behind should show the same concern for orphans.

(They said) We may haply follow the magicians if they are victorious.

The people said, Perhaps we may follow the magicians if they are victorious.

Haply we shall follow the sorcerers if it should be they are the victors.'

Belike we may follow the magicians if they are the winners?

That we may follow the sorcerers who were on Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) religion of disbelief if they are the winners.

That we may follow the magicians, if they are the winners.

We may perhaps follow the religion of the magicians if they triumph.

(They said) Aye, so that we may follow the wizards if they are the winners.

Maybe we will follow the magicians, if they are victors!

in order that we shall follow the sorcerers if they are the victors'

That we might follow the magicians if they are the predominant?

and the people were asked, Will you all be there so that we may follow the magicians if they become victorious?

Haply we may follow the magicians, if they are the vanquishers.

so that we may follow the magicians, if they be the winners.

That we may follow the sorcerers (in religion) if they win?

Maybe I'll go, and maybe I won't.

It's what they have to pay for is what we are going to pay for oil.

Watch yourselves.
