I never thought you'd say something like that.

I thought it must be something like that.

So I was thinking that must have come from the shark.

So I thought, well they like to play games.

So I didn't think much about it.

So I thought I'd better look it up first.

So I thought, I've got to compose myself for Troy.

So, I thought, let's build something that's mutually beneficial.

So, I thought I should start with some stories.

So I thought why not punish myself? I'll do Japanese.

I thought that guy had a gun, so I shot him.

I thought this was unacceptable. So I decided to do something about it.

And so, I thought, if this could work, anything could work.

So I was thinking about, what I really want to do is change the world.

So as a naive New Zealander I thought, well I'll go to the Pentagon.

So, I thought, Yeah, that's probably a good idea.

And I remember thinking about all the reasons why that was the case.

I never thought it'd be this easy to hack into your website.

I never thought it'd be this hard to build a picnic table.

I never thought it'd be this hard to create an iPad app.

So the other thing I thought about there in my bedroom that night was, How could I have done that?

That's very good news, because I thought that was what the answer would be.

And so on. So I suddenly figured that, how come all the rich people are having these extraordinarily gifted children?

I should tell you some stories about remarkable people, so I thought I'd start with my mother.

I never thought it'd be this hard to choose a color to paint the kitchen.

So I thought, okay, I'll try and make an electric toaster from scratch.

So I thought I'd give it a name why don't we call it outdoctrination.

So I just thought, I'm going to capture thumbprint, footprint, or whatever traces we leave as humans.

I didn't say, I'm going to move my shoulder over, move my body.

And then I thought about it a little bit, and I said, Well, is it really that easy?

So I thought, forget the rock opera, forget the bombast, my usual tricks.

My son asked me to decorate his uwabaki for school, so I thought I would draw Whisper.

I thought I could smoke.

I thought that you wanted to see me.

I thought he would come alone.

I thought you were happy.

I thought you would understand.
