These functions allow you to get the date and time from the server where your PHP scripts are running.

Make sure to take daylight saving time and leap years into consideration when working with these functions.

No external libraries are needed to build this extension.

This extension has no configuration directives defined in php.ini.

Those functions provides means to executes commands on the system itself, and means secure such commands.

This option enables the URL aware fopen wrappers that enable accessing URL object like files.

For versions up to and including 4.0.3 you can only disable this feature at compile time by using the configuration switch disable url fopen wrapper.

The behaviour of these functions is affected by settings in php.ini.
