They have not waxed proud

Are you too proud, or too high and mighty?

Have you become proud or were you haughty from the beginning? (Used as a metaphor).

Hast thou waxed proud, or art thou of the lofty ones?'

Becomest thou stiff necked, or art thou of the exalted ones?

Are you too proud (to fall prostrate to Adam) or are you one of the high exalted?

Are you too proud, or were you one of the exalted?

Are you waxing proud, or fancy yourself to be too exalted?

Art thou too proud or art thou of the high exalted?

Are you arrogant, or are you one of the exalted ones?

Have you become too proud, or areyou among the grand'

Were you arrogant then , or were you already among the haughty?

Was it because of your pride or are you truly exalted?

Are you proud or are you of the exalted ones?

Were you overcome by arrogance, or are you of those who think only of themselves as exalted?

Or art thou one of the high (and mighty) ones?

Then turned his back and waxed proud,

Then he turned away, and was haughty.

then he retreated, and waxed proud.

Then turned he back, and grew stiff necked.

Then he turned back and was proud

Then turned he away in pride

Then he walked away disdainfully,

then he retreated and grew proud

Then he turned back and was arrogant

then turned back, and swelling up with pride,

Then he turned back and was big with pride,

and he turned his back and behaved arrogantly

Then he turned back and was haughty

We shall give the mansion of the Hereafter to those who do not want to be haughty in the land and spread corruption.

That is the Last Abode We appoint it for those who desire not exorbitance in the earth, nor corruption.

That home of the Hereafter (i.e. Paradise), We shall assign to those who rebel not against the truth with pride and oppression in the land nor do mischief by committing crimes.

That Home of the Hereafter We assign it for those who seek no superiority on earth, nor corruption.

As for the Abode of the Hereafter, We shall assign it exclusively for those who do not seek glory on earth nor want to cause mischief.

As for that Abode of the Hereafter We assign it unto those who seek not oppression in the earth, nor yet corruption.

That is the Last Abode, We shall assign it to those who desire neither exorbitance in the earth, nor corruption.

That home of the Hereafter We assign to those who do not desire exaltedness upon the earth or corruption.

There is the life hereafter which We have prepared for those who do not want to impose their superiority over the others in the land nor commit evil therein.

As for the abode of the Hereafter, We shall assign it to those who seek neither self aggrandisement on the earth nor corruption.

All the people will know, including Ephraim and the inhabitants of Samaria, who say in pride and in arrogance of heart,

And all the people shall know, even Ephraim and the inhabitant of Samaria, that say in the pride and stoutness of heart,

'But the soul who does anything with a high hand, whether he is native born or a foreigner, the same blasphemes Yahweh and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

But the soul that doeth ought presumptuously, whether he be born in the land, or a stranger, the same reproacheth the LORD and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
