The Commission is convinced that this measure, together with existing regulations concerning prohibition of particularly dangerous products, concerning the residues of pesticides in agricultural products and foodstuffs and concerning drinking water, groundwater and surface water protection and other matters, will ensure a high level of human, animal and environment protection throughout the Community, as well as contribute to the realisation of other objectives of Community policy.
