To Lot, We gave judgment and knowledge and saved him from the village that had been committing corrupt deeds for they were an evil nation and were debauched.

Those who love that indecency should be broadcast about those who believe theirs is a painful punishment in this world and in the Everlasting Life.

Indeed, those who like that immorality should be spread or publicized among those who have believed will have a painful punishment in this world and the Hereafter.

Those who like to publicize indecency among the believers will face painful torment in this world and in the life to come.

And (as for) Lut, We gave him wisdom and knowledge, and We delivered him from the town which wrought abominations surely they were an evil people, transgressors

Those who desire that indecencies should spread among the believers, will have a painful chastisement in this world and the Hereafter.

And to Lut, too, We gave Judgment and Knowledge, and We saved him from the town which practised abominations truly they were a people given to Evil, a rebellious people.

Your definition of this principle is very laboured, and I refuse to see this as a mere awkwardness of expression.
