The stillness of the desert overwhelmed me.

For now should I have lain down and been quiet. I should have slept, then I would have been at rest,

For now should I have lain still and been quiet, I should have slept then had I been at rest,

I am not at ease, neither am I quiet, neither have I rest but trouble comes.

I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet yet trouble came.

Can I say how delighted I am to be away from the calm of Westminster and Whitehall?

Balance making up the rules so you can't cheat, so you learn to approach stillness with different parts of your body.

Indeed those who do not expect to meet Us and have preferred the worldly life and are content with it, and those who neglect Our signs,

Surely those who look not to encounter Us and are well pleased with the present life and are at rest in it, and those who are heedless of Our signs,

Verily those who hope not for meeting with us, and, well pleased with the life of the world, and are satisfied therewith, and those who are neglectful of our signs.

Verily, those who hope not for their meeting with Us, but are pleased and satisfied with the life of the present world, and those who are heedless of Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.),

Those who do not hope to meet Us, and are content with the worldly life, and are at ease in it, and those who pay no heed to Our signs.

Surely those who do not expect to meet Us, who are gratified with the life of the world and content with it, and are heedless of Our signs,

Lo! those who expect not the meeting with Us but desire the life of the world and feel secure therein, and those who are neglectful of Our revelations,

Indeed those who do not expect to encounter Us and who are pleased with the life of this world and satisfied with it, and those who are oblivious of Our signs

Those who do not expect to meet Us, and are wellpleased with this life and are satisfied with it, and those who are inattentive to Our signs,

Indeed, those who do not expect the meeting with Us and are satisfied with the life of this world and feel secure therein and those who are heedless of Our signs

Those who do not have hope of receiving Our mercy in the life hereafter who are pleased and satisfied with the worldly life and who pay no attention to Our revelations

Surely those who do not hope in Our meeting and are pleased with this world's life and are content with it, and those who are heedless of Our communications

Those who entertain no hope of meeting Us, being pleased and contented with the life of this world, and those who give no heed to Our signs,

Those who rest not their hope on their meeting with Us, but are pleased and satisfied with the life of the present, and those who heed not Our Signs,

It is He who created you out of one living soul, and made of him his spouse that he might rest in her.

He it is who created you from a single soul, and He created therefrom his spouse that he might find repose in her.

It is He Who has created you from a single person (Adam), and (then) He has created from him his wife Hawwa (Eve) , in order that he might enjoy the pleasure of living with her.

It is He who created you from a single person, and made from it its mate, that he may find comfort with her.

It is He Allah Who created you from a single being, and out of it He made its mate, that he may find comfort in her.

He it is Who did create you from a single soul, and therefrom did make his mate that he might take rest in her.

It is He who created you from a single soul, and made from it its mate, that he might find comfort with her.

It is He who created you from a soul. From it He created its mate, so that he might reside with her.

It is He who created you from one soul and created from it its mate that he might dwell in security with her.

It is God Who created you from a single soul and out of it made its spouse to bring it comfort.

It was He who created you from a single soul, and from it made its mate so that he may find comfort in her.

It is He Who created you from a single person, and made his mate of like nature, in order that he might dwell with her (in love).

So astronomers in the far future looking out into deep space will see nothing but an endless stretch of static, inky, black stillness.

Another of His signs is that He created mates of your own kind of yourselves so that you may get peace of mind from them, and has put love and compassion between you.

And of His signs is that He created for you mates from your own selves that you may take comfort in them, and He ordained affection and mercy between you.

And of His signs is that He created for you wives from among yourselves, that you might reside with them, and has put kindness and mercy between you.

And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquillity in them and He placed between you affection and mercy.

His creating spouses for you out of yourselves so that you might take comfort in them and His creating love and mercy among you.
