Prescribed for you is fighting, though it be hateful to you.

Prescribed unto you is fighting, albeit it is abhorrent unto you.

Fighting is ordained for you, even though you dislike it.

Warfare has been prescribed for you, though it is repulsive to you.

(Offensive) fighting is obligatory for you, though it is hateful to you.

Fighting has been enjoined upon you while it is hateful to you.

Fighting is made mandatory for you, but you dislike it.

Fighting in defence is ordained for you, abhorrent as it may be to you.

Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it.

Say 'It is God's. He has prescribed for Himself mercy.

Say thou Allah's. He hath prescribed mercy for Himself.

Say To Allah. He has prescribed Mercy for Himself.

Say, To God. He has inscribed for Himself mercy.

He has bound Himself to the exercise of mercy (and thus does not chastise you for your disobedience and excesses instantly).

Say, To Allah. He has made mercy incumbent upon Himself.

Say, To Allah. He has decreed upon Himself mercy.

Say, To God. He has taken it upon Himself to be merciful.

Say To Allah. He hath inscribed for Himself (the rule of) Mercy.

Verily, the prayer is enjoined on the believers at fixed hours.

The prayer is obligatory for believers at specific times.

The Prayer is enjoined upon the believers at stated times.

Worship at fixed times hath been enjoined on the believers.

Indeed, prayer has been decreed upon the believers a decree of specified times.

It is a constant duty of the believers.

Believers are under the obligation to say their prayers at the appointed hours.

O Believers, the Fast has been made obligatory on you just as it was prescribed for the followers of the Prophets before you.

And know that Allah knows what is in your minds, so fear Him.

And do not confirm the marriage tie until the writing is fulfilled.

And you should not settle anything finally about the marriage until the waiting term expires.

And do not consummate the marriage until (the term) prescribed is run.

And do not resolve on the knot of marriage until the writing has reached its term.

And do not determine to undertake a marriage contract until the decreed period reaches its end.

Do not decide for a marriage before the appointed time is over.

Do not proceed with tying the marriage knot before the end of their waiting period.

Surely God has sanctioned the dissolution of your vows.

God has ordained for you the absolution of your oaths.

Allah has already ordained for you Muslims the dissolution of your oaths.

God has shown you how to absolve yourselves of your oaths.

God has already ordained that you be absolved of such oaths.

Allah knoweth that ye will anon make mention of these women but make no promises unto them in secret, except ye speak a reputable saying.
