We said smite With thy staff the stone.

He turns a desert into a pool of water, and a dry land into water springs.

He turneth the wilderness into a standing water, and dry ground into watersprings.

He sends forth springs into the valleys. They run among the mountains.

Should your springs overflow in the streets, streams of water in the public squares?

When there were no depths, I was brought forth, when there were no springs abounding with water.

He sendeth the springs into the valleys, which run among the hills.

Have you not seen how Allah sends down water from the sky and threaded it as springs in the earth?

Have you not seen that God has sent down water from the sky and made it flow as springs out of the earth?
