Still they are plotting their plots, but evident are their plots to God, even though they are so adroit as to make the mountains move.

And indeed they carried out their scheme, and their scheming is within Allah s control and their scheme was not such that could move these mountains . ( The revelations signs of Allah.)

They devised their devising, and their devising is known to God though their devising were such as to remove mountains.'

And of a surety theys Plotted their plot, and with Allah was their plot, though their plot was such as to remove thereby mountains.

Indeed, they planned their plot, and their plot was with Allah, though their plot was a great (one, still) it would never be able to remove the mountains (real mountains or the Islamic law) from their places (as it is of no importance) Tafsir Ibn Kathir, Vol. 2, Page 597 . It is said by some interpreters regarding this Verse that the Quraish pagans plotted against Prophet Muhammad SAW to kill him but they failed and were unable to carry out their plot which they plotted .

They hatched their plots but these plots were all within God's knowledge. Though their plots were such as to shake the mountains, God will bring their plots to nothing.

Mighty indeed were the plots which they made, but their plots were (well) within the sight of Allah, even though they were such as to shake the hills!

Do not grieve over them, and do not be distressed by what they contrive.

And do not grieve upon them, nor be distressed because of their scheming.

Do not sorrow for them, nor be thou straitened for what they devise.

And grieve thou not over them nor be straitened because of that which they plot.

And grieve you not for them, nor be straitened (in distress) because of what they plot.

But do not grieve over them, and do not be troubled by what they plot.

(O Prophet), do not grieve over them, nor be distressed at their designs.

And grieve thou not for them, nor be in distress because of what they plot (against thee).

Do not grieve for them, and do not be upset by their guile.

Do not be sorry for them, nor be distressed for what they devise.

And grieve not over them or be in distress from what they conspire.

(Muhammad), do not be grieved (about their disbelief) nor distressed about their evil plans against you.

And grieve not for them and be not distressed because of what they plan.

Do not grieve over them, nor feel distressed at their schemes.

But grieve not over them, nor distress thyself because of their plots.

Do not grieve for them, and do not be distressed by their plots.

And do not sorrow for them, nor be thou straitened for what they devise.

And grieve not over them (polytheists and pagans, etc.), and be not distressed because of what they plot.

And do not grieve over them, and do not be stressed by their schemes.

Grieve not for them, and be not in distress because of that which they devise.

Behold, I know your thoughts, the devices with which you would wrong me.
