3. Denunciation of this Convention in accordance with paragraph 1 of this article shall entail the denunciation of any protocols thereto.

And shouldst thou fear treachery from any people cast back then unto them their covenant to be equal.

If you (O Muhammad SAW) fear treachery from any people throw back (their covenant) to them (so as to be) on equal terms (that there will be no more covenant between you and them).

If you fear treachery on the part of a people, break off with them in a like manner.
