There will they have whatever they wish, and there abide for ever.

For them there will be therein all that they desire, and they will abide (there forever).

They will have therein whatever they desire, forever.

wherein they will get everything they desire and wherein they will dwell for ever.

Therein abiding, they have all that they desire.

Living there for ever, they shall find in it all that they desire.

For them therein is whatever they wish, while abiding eternally.

Therein they will eternally have whatever they want.

Abiding there forever, they shall find in it all that they desire.

So then if you die, will they live ever after?

Erect palaces (thinking) that you will live for ever,

And prefer strong palaces, that perhaps you may live for ever?

and do you take to you castles, haply to dwell forever?

And take ye for yourselves castles that haply ye may abide.

And do you get for yourselves palaces (fine buildings) as if you will live therein for ever.

Should you die, are they then the immortal?

And you set up fortresses, hoping to live forever?

If you were to die, will they live for ever?

and erect huge palaces as though you will live for ever,

What! if thou diest, can they be immortal!

And seek ye out strongholds, that haply ye may last for ever?

If you are fated to die, will they live on forever?

You set up structures as if you will be immortal,

And do you take to yourselves underground reservoirs, in order to live for ever!

And take for yourselves palaces and fortresses that you might abide eternally?

Will they become immortal after you die?

and raise strong mansions as if you were to live forever?

What! Then if you die, will they abide?

And you make strong fortresses that perhaps you may

and erect castles hoping that you will live forever.

And do ye get for yourselves fine buildings in the hope of living therein (for ever)?

In it for them is all that they may desire, abiding in it for ever a promise incumbent upon your Lord, that is prayed for.

Therein they shall have what they will dwelling forever it is a promise binding upon thy Lord, and of Him to be required.

Theirs therein shall be all that they wish for, as abiders a promise from thy Lord to be asked for.

There they will have whatever they wish, abiding forever a promise much besought, binding on your Lord.

They shall have therein what they desire abiding (in it) it is a promise which it is proper to be prayed for from your Lord.

For them there will be therein all that they wish for they will dwell (there) for aye A promise to be prayed for from thy Lord.

Hunger often produces immortal poems. Abundance, only indigestion and clumsiness.

We did not make their bodies immune to hunger, nor were they immortal.

And We did not create them without bodies so they would not eat food nor that they abide on earth forever.

nor did We fashion them as bodies that ate not food, neither were they immortal

And We made them not bodies not eating food nor were they to be abiders.

And We did not create them (the Messengers, with) bodies that ate not food, nor were they immortals,

We did not make them mere bodies that ate no food, nor were they immortal.

We did not endow the Messengers with bodies that would need no food nor were they immortals.
