And by oath of the Promised Day.

And by the Day promised,

And by the Promised Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection)

And by the Promised Day.

By the promised Day (of Judgment)

That which you are promised is sure to come.

If You show me the promise they are given,

If You would show me that with which they are threatened (torment),

If Thou shouldst show me that which they are promised.

If You should show me what they are promised,

Say O Lord, if I am made to see what has been promised them,

Say 'O my Lord, if Thou shouldst show me that they are promised,

Say thou my Lord! if Thou wilt shew me that wherewith they are threatened.

Say, My Lord, if You would show me what they are promised.

Pray, (O Muhammad) My Lord, if You should bring the scourge of which they had been warned in my presence,

Say 'Lord, if You should show me that which they are promised,

Say, O Muhammad , My Lord, if You should show me that which they are promised,

Say, Lord, if you will afflict them with punishment,

Say O my Lord! if Thou shouldst make me see what they are threatened with

Pray, Lord, if you would show me that the punishment of which they have been warned,

Say O my Lord! if Thou wilt show me (in my lifetime) that which they are warned against,

Indeed the thing which you are promised will definitely come to pass, and you cannot escape.

The thing you are promised, that will surely come you cannot frustrate it.

Verily that which ye are promised is sure to arrive, and ye cannot escape.

Surely, that which you are promised will verily come to pass, and you cannot escape (from the Punishment of Allah).

What you are promised is coming, and you cannot thwart it.

Surely what you have been promised shall come to pass and you do not have the power to frustrate (Allah).

Lo! that which ye are promised will surely come to pass, and ye cannot escape.

Indeed what you are promised will surely come, and you will not be able to thwart it.

Indeed, what you are promised is coming, and you will not cause failure to Allah .

Whatever you are promised will inevitably come true and you can do nothing to prevent it.

Surely what you are threatened with must come to pass and you cannot escape (it).

That which you are promised shall surely come to pass and you cannot prevent it.

All that hath been promised unto you will come to pass nor can ye frustrate it (in the least bit).

Leave them to their vain discoursing and horse play till they come to meet their promised day (of reckoning).
