They will say, God, Who made all things speak, made us speak.

The skins will reply Allah gave us speech, as He gave speech to all others.

They will say, We were given speech by Allah, who gave speech to all things.

They will reply, God, who has made everything speak, made us also speak.

That is because they disobeyed and have been trespassing.

This is because they disobeyed (Allah) and used to transgress beyond bounds (in Allah's disobedience, crimes and sins).
