In that unwelcoming place I found too many surly people.

If you see those who had imputed lies to God on the Day of Resurrection, black would be their faces (with disgrace).

And on the Day of Judgment thou Shalt see those who lied against Allah their faces blackened.

And on the Day of Resurrection you will see those who lied against Allah (i.e. attributed to Him sons, partners, etc.) their faces will be black.

On the Day of Resurrection, you will see those who told lies about God with their faces blackened.

On the Day of Resurrection you shall see that the faces of those who had lied against Allah have turned dark.

And on the Day of Resurrection thou (Muhammad) seest those who lied concerning Allah with their faces blackened.

On the Day of Resurrection you will see those who attributed lies to Allah with their faces blackened.

On the Day of Resurrection, you shall see those who lied about Allah with blackened faces.

And on the Day of Resurrection you will see those who lied about Allah with their faces blackened.

On the Day of Judgment you will see the faces of those who had invented falsehood against God blackened.

And on the day of resurrection you shall see those who lied against Allah their faces shall be blackened.

On the Day of Resurrection you will see those who uttered falsehoods about God with their faces blackened.

Yet when news of the birth of a daughter reaches one of them, his face is darkened, and he is overwhelmed with silent grief,

And when one among of them receives the glad tidings of a daughter, his face turns black for the day, and he remains seething.

and when any of them is given the good tidings of a girl, his face is darkened and he chokes inwardly,

And when there is announced unto any of them a female his countenance remainoth darkened the whole day and he is wroth inwardly.

And when the news of (the birth of) a female (child) is brought to any of them, his face becomes dark, and he is filled with inward grief!

And when one of them is given news of a female infant, his face darkens, and he chokes with grief.

When any of them is told about the birth of a female his face turns dark, and he is filled with suppressed anger,

When if one of them receiveth tidings of the birth of a female, his face remaineth darkened, and he is wroth inwardly.

When one of them is brought the news of a female newborn , his face becomes darkened, and he chokes with suppressed agony.

When good news of the birth of a female is given to any of them, his face grows dark and inwardly he chokes.

And when one of them is informed of the birth of a female, his face becomes dark, and he suppresses grief.

When the glad news of the birth of their daughter is brought to them, their faces turn gloomy and black with anger.

And when a daughter is announced to one of them his face becomes black and he is full of wrath.

When the birth of a girl is announced to any of them, his face darkens and he is filled with gloom.

When news is brought to one of them, of (the birth of) a female (child), his face darkens, and he is filled with inward grief!

Yet when news of (a daughter) they had reserved for Ar Rahman comes to one of them, his face is blackened (with shame), and he grieves in silence inwardly.

And if one of them is given the glad tidings of what he professes regarding the Most Gracious, his face blackens and he is mournful!

And when any of them is given the good tidings of that he has likened to the All merciful, his face is darkened, and he chokes inwardly.

And when there is announced Unto any of them the birth of that which he likeneth Unto the Compassionate, his countenance remaineth darkened the whole day and he is wroth inwardly.

And if one of them is informed of the news of (the birth of) that which he set forth as a parable to the Most Beneficent (Allah) (i.e. of a girl), his face becomes dark, gloomy, and he is filled with grief!

Yet when one of them is given news of what he attributes to the Most Gracious, his face darkens, and he suppresses grief.

(They believe so although when) any of them is given tidings of the birth of a female child the like of which he assigns to the Merciful One, his countenance darkens and he is choked with grief.

And if one of them hath tidings of that which he likeneth to the Beneficent One, his countenance becometh black and he is full of inward rage.

When one of them is brought the news of what he ascribes to the All beneficent, his face becomes darkened and he chokes with suppressed rage, and says

Yet when one of them is given glad news of (a daughter) that which he likened to the Merciful his face darkens and he chokes inwardly (with gloom).

And when one of them is given good tidings of that which he attributes to the Most Merciful in comparison, his face becomes dark, and he suppresses grief.

When one of them is given the glad news of the birth of a daughter, which they believe to be the only kind of child that the Beneficent God can have, his face blackens with anger.

And when one of them is given news of that of which he sets up as a likeness for the Beneficent Allah, his face becomes black and he is full of rage.

When any of them is given the news of the very thing i.e. a female child which he himself has ascribed to the All Merciful, his face darkens and he is filled with grief

When news is brought to one of them of (the birth of) what he sets up as a likeness to (Allah) Most Gracious, his face darkens, and he is filled with inward grief!

And you will see on the Day of Resurrection the fabricators of lies against Allah, with their faces blackened is not the destination of the haughty in hell?

And upon the Day of Resurrection thou shalt see those who lied against God, their faces blackened is there not in Gehenna a lodging for those that are proud?
